Colorado Springs Personalized/Preventive Dental Care
At Serene Dental Hygiene we realize that no two people are alike, we all have different needs as people and patients. We see a lot of people who have real fears of dental treatment. We will always do our very best to listen to you to hear what you don’t like and what makes you uncomfortable. We do what it takes to make this experience as calming and pleasant as possible for you. If you need to break the appointment up into two sittings, we can do that…..whatever it takes.
What sets us apart from most dental offices is that our office is quiet. There are no sounds of dental drills or other conversations in the next room. The reason for this is that Lori Kinzer, our dental hygienist always works alone without a dentist present. (Yes, this is legal in the State of Colorado) Most people find it very comforting to know that they get the undivided attention from the hygienist without interruption and the typical noise factor in most dental offices.
We schedule appropriately and take our time to give you a very personalized cleaning and exam experience. Most people tell us that they just had their most thorough cleaning and exam they have ever had. You can expect your first appointment to take two hours so that we can be as thorough as possible.
It’s good to know that when you call for your appointment or with a question you will always be speaking with Lori, owner and dental hygienist of Serene Dental Hygiene. So, you always get first hand attention from the one who cares the most about you.
At Serene, We only do procedures you NEED, not just what your insurance will pay for. There is a difference. Most offices allow insurance companies to dictate what you need and when you need it. At Serene Hygiene, If you have no history of decay, you may not need x rays every time or fluoride as an adult. We don’t push services on you just to make money. We WILL suggest services to you based on what we see and what you tell us.
We use state of the art digital dental x ray and intraoral camera devices to cut back on radiation and to use those images to educate you on your own unique dental needs. People leave with a new understanding of their mouth and their teeth. This technology also allows us to be able to see things more clearly and be more accurate in our findings.
So, if you are looking to be a name, not a number; A person, not a patient; and you want to be an advocate in deciding what treatment you get, then Serene Dental Hygiene might be the place you want to come for your next dental cleaning and exam.
